Fleet owners expected to embrace FTA DVD

Drivers looking to manage the cost of their yearly van insurance bill could do worse than take a look at the Freight Transport Association's latest instructional DVD.

Entitled "Towing Trailers with Vans and Light Goods Vehicles", the two-disc DVD aims to help van insurance customers become better educated about safety issues related to towing and coupling, including ideal speeds and the best ways to reverse.

Although not all content applies specifically to van drivers, as other commercial vehicles are also covered, much of it will be useful as it contains information about driving hours and correct licensing.

Many van insurance quote seekers, particularly those with fleets of vehicles, have already reported finding the FTA's previous DVD releases, "Routine Checks for Vans and Light Vehicles" and "Safe Loading of Vans and Light Vehicles", to be very helpful.
