Renault have announced that they will be launching a new traction assistance system across its range of light-commercial vehicles.

The new X-Track system will assist business customers who regularly drive their vehicles across more challenging terrain. Renault's Trafic, Master and Kangoo light-commercial vans can be fitted with the new X-Track conversion which offers a limited-slip differential, raised ground clearance, underbody protection and is finished off with all-weather tyres.

Additionally the Renault Master can be specified to come equipped with a 4x4 transmission. Drivers of the 4x4 transmission vaiants will be able to choose between a 2x4 transmission for normal road use, or can switch to 4x4 transmission for off-road or poor conditions driving.

Renault have claimed that the new X-Track vehicles and Master 4x4 variants will be available for use along with their existing 'Grip Xtend' technology which offer improved grip on slippy terrain. Grip Xtend is fitted as standard on the ICE versions of Renault's Kangoo, Trafic, Master PC and LCV vehicle range.

The new X-Track models will be made available across Europe later in 2016 with the Master 4x4 will be on sale in the summer. Renault will confirm UL dates for the range in the upcoming months.
